We list the exact material on every product page. Here is what each one is, how it wears, and how to look after it.
Materials We Use
| Material | What It Is | Wear & Care |
|---|---|---|
| Stainless steel | 316L surgical-grade steel | Water and sweat resistant, does not tarnish. Wipe with a dry cloth. |
| Genuine leather | Full-grain cowhide with steel fittings | Keep dry. Softens with wear. Avoid perfume and cleaning products. |
| 925 sterling silver | 92.5% silver alloy | Can tarnish over time; polish with a silver cloth to restore shine. |
| Gold plated | Steel or silver base with a gold layer | Remove before swimming or showering to protect the plating. |
| Natural stone beads | Agate, onyx, lava and tiger eye | Colour and veining vary between pieces. Keep away from harsh chemicals. |
Everyday Care
- Put jewelry on last, after aftershave, sunscreen or hair product.
- Take leather off before showering, swimming or the gym.
- Wipe pieces with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
- Store separately so links and chains do not scratch each other.
What We Do Not Do
We do not describe plated pieces as solid, and we do not leave a material unstated. If a product page says stainless steel, it is stainless steel throughout — including the clasp.
